General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Based on your symptoms it seems you are suffering from bronchitis. Smoking is one of the most common causes of bronchitis.

Long-term smoking can lead to COPD all the way up to lung cancer.

So as a physician I would advise you to stop smoking. there are many ways available to quit smoking. You can discuss those options with your physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saralkumar R. Desai, General & Family Physician
